The coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic has impacted all of us across the globe, and the Carnegie Hero Fund Commission is no exception. First and foremost our concern is for the health and well-being of our Carnegie Hero families. Please stay safe.
The work of the Commission will continue through the current health crisis. Headquartered in Pittsburgh, the Commission’s physical office space is closed, but staff members are working remotely to carry out the administrative, financial, and investigative operations of the fund.
Given the current environment, we are pausing coordination of medal presentation ceremonies for awardees at this time until further notice. Should you have questions, as always, please do not hesitate to contact us. We have staff checking Hero Fund voicemail regularly and will relay messages to the appropriate person.
