Thomas Kaczmarek, 34, spinner, died attempting to save Bernard Krupinski, 21, from drowning, Dudley, Massachusetts, December 7, 1907. Kaczmarek, paying no attention to the warnings of others, went to the assistance of Krupinski, who had broken through the ice on Merino Pond 150 feet from the bank, where the water was 15 feet deep.
