Stanley D. Lansborough, 17, student, died attempting to save George C. Dewey, 15, and W. Clark Morgan, 13, schoolboys, from drowning, Olivet, Michigan, January 2, 1913. (See case of GEORGE C. DEWEY.) Stanley skated toward the hole when George fell into the water and reached a point 10 feet from the hole. The ice then broke, and he fell into the water. He was drowned. 9759-953
