Robert Alfred Kee saved Victoria Tenerowicz from being struck by a train, Park Ridge, Illinois, November 19, 1975. Mrs.Tenerowicz, 84, was crossing a railroad track on which a train was approaching at about 50 m.p.h. Kee, 28, telephone company employee, ran onto the track to aid her and reached her in the path of the oncoming train, on which emergency braking had been applied. Kee shoved Mrs.Tenerowicz from the train’s path and followed immediately. Both fell on the ballast alongside the track as the train passed, narrowly missing them and stopping some distance beyond.
