Joseph K. Isenberg, 44, contractor, saved Arabella V., 37, and Paul K. Crist, 5, from a runaway, Altoona, Pennsylvania, December 25, 1910. Paul had fallen in the path of the horse which, galloping, was drawing an empty sleigh, when it was less than 60 feet distant, and Mrs. Crist had stooped to lift him. Isenberg ran and grasped Mrs. Crist with one hand and Paul with the other and gave them a strong push to one side. The next moment, the horse struck him in the back, knocking him 20 feet and rendering him unconscious. He regained consciousness in 10 minutes but was disabled four days. Mrs. Crist and Paul were uninjured. 6192-687
