James S. McGrath, 59, janitor, helped to save Peter Sullivan, 32, laborer, and two other men, and assisted in an attempt to save 21 others from suffocation, Cleveland, Ohio, July 25, 1916. (See case of JAMES J. KEATING.) McGrath was the workman who accompanied Keating and Clancy on their first trip. He was unconscious at times during the night but had recovered by the next day.
