James B. Goldman, 31, foreman, saved Warren Finley, 30, from being run over by a train, Waterloo, South Carolina, June 29, 1907. Becoming frightened at the sight of an approaching train, Finley jumped from a handcar on which he was riding and fell in front of it. He was held to the ground by the handcar, and just as Goldman released him, they were struck by the engine, both being injured. Goldman sustained bruises on the body and a cut on the cheek. 2067-235
