Harry E. Moore, 38, railroad conductor, attempted to save Farmer Miller, 55, from being run over by a train, Amsterdam, Ohio, June 17, 1905. Moore jumped from the locomotive of the moving train, and ran in front of it, in an effort to reach Miller, who was lying on the track, but was overtaken and knocked down, the wheels passing over a part of his left hand. Miller was killed.
