Frank Kuehl died attempting to save Peter Brusky from drowning, Kewaunee, Wisconsin, July 4, 1925. Brusky, 22, laborer, jumped from a pier into Kewaunee Harbor, rose to within six inches of the surface, and then began to sink. Kuehl, 23, laborer, dived fully dressed from the pier and got hold of Brusky, who grabbed Kuehl around the body. Kuehl was unable to swim with Brusky and in about two minutes both sank and were drowned. 26163-2161
