Florence Hoose, 40, housewife, attempted to save Frederick Jackson, 24, from falling, Chelsea, Massachusetts, September 5, 1905. After being choked and threatened with death by Jackson, who was in a state of delirium resulting from typhoid fever, Hoose ran after him in his mad course to harm himself. After again being molested, she continued to follow him through the house and made a vain effort to prevent him from plunging through a window to the pavement 35 feet below.
