Clayburn R. Marsh saved Sherry C. Moses from electrocution, Crosbyton, Texas, December 8, 1985. Mrs. Moses, 32, was operating a farm tractor and cotton baler when an arm of the baler struck a high-voltage electrical line. When she attempted to exit the tractor, Mrs. Moses was pinned against it by the electricity, which arced to her hip. Marsh, 49, farmer, who was working nearby, ran to her. Grasping the shoulders of her jacket, Marsh twice pulled her away from the tractor, but the electricity drew her back each time. Bracing his foot against one of the tires of the tractor, Marsh pulled again and freed her, then dragged her away. Mrs. Moses suffered third-degree burns to her hip, right hand, and feet, resulting in the loss of four toes and a finger. 61032-7050
