Charles H. Kelsey, 26, electrician, rescued Arthur J. Kelley, 21, power company patrolman, from a fatal fall, Falls Village, Connecticut, April 26, 1915. Kelley, who weighed 180 pounds, was shocked by electricity and fell head first from an arm of a tower, 35 feet above the ground. Kelsey stood on the ground and caught Kelley in his arms. Kelsey was forced downward and fell on his back with Kelley on top of him. Kelley was unhurt by his fall, but Kelsey’s arms and legs were made sore, and he was disabled four days. 14774-1300
