Stichting Carnegie Heldenfonds secretary retiring

stichting carnegie heldenfondsHans W. de Vries, 12-year secretary of Stichting Carnegie Heldenfonds—the hero fund of the Netherlands—retired at the end of 2015.  He started work for the Dutch fund in 2004 and presided over awarding ceremonies for hundreds of recipients of that fund’s Carnegie Medal. Hans was deeply committed to the work of the fund and even though retired will always be a member of the Dutch “Carnegie Family,” according to fund spokesman Bart Brands.  His replacement is Jaap Sneep.
